Quick note: Thursday night, Brighton, Kings of Leon gig we had been looking forward to since July when we bought out tickets. What a shitty show. Yeah, they played all the songs I wanted etc, if that was all I wanted I would have just thrown on one of their albums. Sympathies to a group that has apparently been touring for too long, more upsetting is seeing an amazing group that has lost passion for what should central to their art: performance.
In light of the gig we went to the next night, Dan Deacon and No Age -- probably the best show I've ever been to -- Kings of Leon were even worse than I had originally thought.
