PS my brother downloaded Dinner At The Thompsons...yeaahh alright. Probably could have cut their track listing down from 18 to 8....or 4...ie the 4 misleading, misleading songs on their myspace. I unfortunately already shelled out the 15$ to buy it (still waiting for the post) but now I've saved everyone fifteen buckeroos.

Also am enjoying Alberta Cross and I know I've already mentioned but I love this guy: John Maus

pps i just realized after a bit of scrolling that I actually HAVEN'T mentioned john maus before...met him at girl talk gig because he's with upsettherhythm as well (i think girl talk is?); really nice guy, kind of weird mannerisms but anyways kept missing his performances (before dan deacon and girl talk i believe) which sucks in retrospect because i got around to checking out his stuff and im pretty obsessed with it at the moment. anyways on the topic of rambling i asked Girl Talk where he got his name from at his gig (well actually james did but whatever)and he said he used to be part of an aesthetic and girl talk was the complete antithesis to it at the time, and then it stuck.

thats it for me anyways, possibly going to see Little Dragon on the 17th woot.

OH and ppps my sister gave me the latest alicia keys cd which is actually really good, sing along, mildly cheesy R&B, its excellent. also im starting to realize the extent of ms keys talent!
