Remember my quest for latin music i.e 2 days ago? What did I happen to come across but a website similar to (ChrisgoesRock) that posts free downloads of old brazilian albums that are no longer available!
I only downloaded one album so far (which honestly isn't phenomenal as of yet) but the wealth of music on this website...well it scares me a little. My next album will be the Sarah Vaughn covers of Brazilian tunes (?!?!?!)
Another UNBELIEVABLE blog I have come across is Armed Snobbery. I've pretty much yet to come across a song he's posted that I don't love.
example: I Only Have Eyes for You - The Flamingo's...clearly a well known song but who knew??!?...alright, probably a huge amount of people, but whatever? Funny I heard this sample on From here we go sublime by The Field (from album of same name) and assumed he was getting it from The Fugees. Think again.
